Jeffrey left Mars as a stowaway on a NASA space probe. He was hoping to enjoy better TV reception on the Planet Earth. When he was discovered by earthlings, he was heavily recruited by a number of American universities seeking to increase the diversity of their student bodies. Jeffrey enrolled in college part-time, but so far is unimpressed by much. Other than TV reception, that is.

Milo is Jeffrey's flamboyant roommate.
Also an extra-terrestrial (from the Planet Venus),
Milo is desperate to be cool.

Arthur is Jeffrey's barber, but he prefers to be known as Jeffrey's "Hair Designer." Yeah, well, you know.

Jeffrey is in love with Clarisse, his neighbor. Clarisse enjoys gardening, hiking, cooking, and tinkering with x-band transponders.

Ike is Jeffrey's ambitious classmate. Ike is an entrepreneur, and knows that a media-savvy Martian could make a fortune.
